We’re so excited about the 4.0 update that we’re calling on all Pro artists and MS Paint enthusiasts to join the fun! To celebrate the launch, we’re kicking off an art competition that everyone can participate in. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or someone who can barely color inside the lines (just look at the cover of this article, CM Void is definitely not a pro), we want to see your creativity shine. Show off the new Luminess class through your art!

Event Details

There will be two art categories for submission. All players may only submit to one category:

  1. Pro Artist- Enter this category to really showcase your skills! Submissions to this category will be based on artistic skill, composition, and style.
  • Picture must be related to the Luminess class.
  • Art will be judged on creativity and talent.
  • You may use any program you wish (Photoshop, Procreate, etc.) with the exception of any AI programs.
  • AI generated submissions will not be accepted.
  • Horizontal aspect ratio/resolution only please
  • Feel free to dictate your resolution or aspect ratio of your horizontal art, but please at least submit something higher than or equal to 1080p resolution: 1920x1080
  1. MS Paint Artist –If you’re artistic skills are like CM Void’s, then this category is for you! We want to give everyone a chance to compete so even if you’re not artistically inclined, let your scribbling run wild in Microsoft Paint. Submissions in this category will be based on composition, creativeness and effort.
  • Picture must be related to the Luminess class.
  • Must use the Microsoft Paint program. Please only use tools native within the program. No copy and pasting images or assets from other sources.
  • Do your best to create an image that stands out, using simple tools.
  • Artistic ability is not the focus of this category. Art will be judged on creativity, use of MS Paint, and a bit of fun and humor. 
  • AI generated submissions will not be accepted.
  • Horizontal aspect ratio/resolution only please
  • Feel free to dictate your resolution or aspect ratio of your horizontal art, but please at least submit something higher than or equal to 1080p resolution: 1920x1080
  • To edit the canvas size in Paint go to File/Image Properties/Image Size and type 1920x1080

Submitting Your Art

Please submit all artwork to our official Discord server under the CREATIVE category in the #luminess-proartist-contest or #luminess-mspaint-contest channel. One submission per player. Choose your category wisely.

When submitting your artwork to Discord please include the following:

  • Post your artwork in .jpg or .png format.
  • Write the title to your art piece.
  • Write your in-game character name that you want the reward delivered to if you win.
