A lot has happened in the world of Aion since the Shadows Over Balaurea update, since stopping Stellin’s plans at the Altar of Ascension. Next week, we will introduce some additional content – here's a birds-eye view of some of the changes that will be going live on Wednesday.

Skill Balance Updates

Each class will be receiving numerous skill changes which were originally released on the Korean service on February 19. Detailed change notes will be included in the official patch notes released next week.

New Ultimate Transformations

Two new Ultimate Transformations, Ereshkigal and Tiamat, will arrive with this update. Associated transformation collections will also be added.

Prestige Merchant Updates

As we discussed in a recent Feedback Update, we have performed an internal review of the Prestige Merchant due to feedback that their offerings were not on-par with expectations. We took a close look at the items, prices, and in-game values, while also considered the offerings from a holistic player experience perspective.

As a result, some permanent items and most consumable items will see steep price decreases. Also, new consumables will be made available, such as 100% Enchantment Stone Selection Boxes and Rebirth Manastone Fasteners.

Siege Changes

This update will bring an adjustment to the time which fortress sieges occur in order to make them more accessible. Additionally, the number of days with fortress sieges will be reduced. Altar sieges will continue to run daily.

Siege rewards will also be altered, with the intent of encouraging players to earn high participation in a single siege rather than bouncing to each siege for lower tier participation.

  • Top-tier participation will provide much more GP compared to lower tiers.
  • Guardian General AP has been increased while other monster AP has been decreased.
  • The amount of AP, Kinah, and items earned from siege participation will be increased to balance against the reduction in the overall number of sieges per week.

We hope you are excited for this update! Please share your feedback with us on the forums or on our Facebook and Twitter!
