With the launch of Aion: Awakened Legacy today, we are also launching a brand new lockbox with fantastic rewards, the Black Cloud Lockbox. The new Black Cloud Lockbox is replacing the Fortune, Utility, and Power Lockboxes, so any of these Lockboxes or associated Lockbox Keys and Caches you have in your inventory will be automatically converted into the relevant Black Cloud Lockbox item.

Black Cloud Lockboxes will randomly drop in the world, and can only be opened with a Black Cloud Lockbox Key that can be purchased or has the possibility of being a drop in instances.

Along with an updated exclusive reward list, each Lockbox opened guarantees at least one Lockbox Coin, up to a jackpot of 25 coins. Collect these coins and use them at various Lockbox Vending Machines found in the capital cities and Lakrum. These vending machines contain loads of useful items you can acquire with your Lockbox Coin!
