VERSION 2.8 VERSUS UPDATE PATCH NOTES

[ Apheta Beluslan ]

  • A new PVP field, 'Apheta Beluslan' has been added.

Apheta Beluslan was created as a side effect of dark experiments performed using a mysterious material that Tiamat discovered in Balaurea. A mad scientist within her legion—formerly a Daeva—was conducting research on the strange discovery, a substance with power resembling Siel’s own. Her work corrupted the substance, which spread all throughout Beluslan and twisted it into this new form.

Much like with the Telos expedition, the Daevas who discovered these abnormalities and felt their ill effects decided that it wasn’t enough to send just a few agents. They dispatched a large fleet to investigate.

Upon their arrival, the Daevas discovered a land that looks much like the same Beluslan where the Elyos and Asmodians warred in the past, but is now twisted and distorted. The region is filled with mutated creatures and all manner of dark phenomena. Now, the Elyos and Asmodians have confirmed that Tiamat’s legion is extracting a force much like Siel’s power. Fearing the worst, they have dispatched an airship as a temporary base to launch an assault against Tiamat’s invasion.

    • When a neutral raid starts, users near 'Alukina's Palace' are teleported to a specific location.
    • When a neutral raid starts, the remaining time is displayed on the map.
    • The faction that defeats the neutral raid first wins, and you can earn rewards based on your contribution.
  3. Added a new artifact exchange NPC.
    • Appears when a specific base is occupied, and the type of artifact that can be exchanged at each base is different.
    • Can be exchanged with 150% efficiency of the basic paid Abyss Points.
  4. Added new crafting material fragment vendors.
    • Appears when a specific base is occupied, and each base has different types of pieces sold by NPCs.
  5. Added a new crafting weapon and accessory blueprint merchant.
    • Appears only at certain times, and at a random location within a specific area in Apheta Beluslan.
    • Disappears 1 hour after appearing.
  6. Material replenishment content has been added.
    • Added 'Base Support Mark' to the daily quest completion reward for Apheta Beluslan Base Occupation.
    • Added a new weekly quest that rewards 'Base Support Mark'.
    • From 19:00 to 2:00 (GMT-6) the next day, a supply vendor appears within a specific area in Apheta Beluslan, and you can purchase supplies using 'Base Support Mark'.

Raden was originally a Daeva, but he betrayed his people to serve as one of Tiamat’s loyal servants. Under her command, he began experimenting on kidnapped Daevas. By wielding the power of storms, Raden was able to brainwash one of the Daevas into becoming a powerful combat striker and servant of the Balaur.

After the brainwashed Daeva and other experiments escaped, he turned his attention to Tiamat’s newest orders—gathering Siel’s power from all over Atreia. Raden infiltrated Beluslan, serving as an active officer while secretly carrying out Tiamat’s desires.

Eventually, Raden went into hiding in Beluslan to continue his research on the golden substance at the ruins where the artifact rested.

The golden substance extracted by Tiamat's Legion was clearly a powerful force, but it was originally created by Siel. Raden, who found it difficult to control, began to investigate and learn how to wield the ancient technology that lay dormant within the ruins where he did his work. From that research, he was finally able to develop his own, more pliable version of the golden substance that could mimic Siel’s power.

His work was not without side effects. A strange distortion warped time and space within the entire region of Beluslan. These chilling changes forced Raden to continue his research deep within the hidden ruins of Phaistos’ Disk.

Now wielding a terrible power that neither Daeva nor Balaur could obtain, Raden dreams of conquering not just Apheta Beluslan, but all of Atreia.

    • Instead of acquiring a dungeon-specific skill item, the 'Taloc Fruit' transformation effect is applied upon entering.

    • The cooldown of some dungeon-specific skills has been shortened.
    • The health of ‘Kinquid’, ‘Queen Mosqua’, and ‘Celestius’ has been lowered.

    • The level of the Reian NPC within the dungeon has been changed to 55, and some stats have been raised.
  2. 'Jotun Blacksmith's Belt' and 'Jotun Worthy Hat', which previously dropped from of the Jotun Vault in Lower Udas Temple, now drop from Debilkarim the Maker.
    • The drop rate of ‘Jotun Blacksmith’s Belt’ has been increased.
  3. The difficulty of ‘Dragon Lord’s Throne: Telos’ has been lowered.
    • We have lowered the health of Bomb Drakie, Vasharti Shadow, and Vasharti Vindicator.
    • The number of monsters summoned in each phase has been reduced.
    • The frequency of the capture skill used by Vasharti Vindicator has been changed.
    • The attack range of Vasharti Shadow has been lowered.
  4. Regardless of whether the prerequisite quests are completed or not, ‘Steel Rake’, ‘Theobomos Lab’, ‘Adma Stronghold’, ‘Dark Poeta’, ‘Taloc’s Hollow’, ‘Tiak Research Base’, and ‘Tempus’ have been changed to allow entry into ‘Dragon Lord’s Throne: Telos’.
    • Entry level restrictions and entry item conditions will remain.
  5. Fixed an issue where players could intermittently enter the Dredgion.
  6. Fixed an issue where the transformation effect provided in a dungeon would disappear if the character had a certain number of buffs.
  7. Fixed an issue where eggs intermittently did not spawn during the ‘Padmarashka’s Cave’ attack.

  6. The armor in the bundle given as a reward for a quest related to Steel Rake is now exclusively [Supplies].
    • The set effect of [Supplies] Steel Rake Armor is not compatible with the existing armor items.
  7. Even if you are not in the same group/alliance, members of the same legion will now see the 'Stealth Group Kisk'.
  8. The cooldown for stat-altering transformation candy has been changed to 10 minutes.
  9. Using the same fixed-term title card will now extend the title’s remaining period.
  • Can be extended up to 365 days.
  1. The abilities for some level 58 crafted equipment have been changed.
  2. Added Kisk Return Scroll.
    • Kisk Return Scroll is available at different levels in 10-level increments and can be purchased from general goods merchants.
    • You can only use the Kisk Return Scroll while you are registered to a Kisk.
    • The Kisk Return Scroll shares uses with resurrections. When the number of resurrections/returns are exhausted, the Kisk Return Scroll is destroyed.
  3. Added Premium Dye.
    • Premium Dye can only be used on applicable cosmetic items, and when used, various skins and colors are applied according to a set probability.
    • Premium Dye can be removed using Dye Remover
    • You can preview the appearance of Premium Inquin Dye by selecting Inquin Outfit in Aion Outfits – Wardrobe – Dye Appearance.
  4. We have added the 'Doom Lure I' skill book, which has the same effect as the existing stigma skill 'Doom Lure I'.
  5. Fixed an issue where the grades of some skill book items were different from the previous level.
  6. The cooldown of some scrolls has been changed to 1 second.

    • When using Gliding Boost in the flight zone, 3.5 flight time is consumed per second.
    • When using Gliding Boost in a no-fly zone, 15 flight time is consumed per second.
    • When using the Gliding Boost skill, a 1 second cooldown is applied.
    • Pressing the Land or Standing Jump button during Gliding Boost will cancel Gliding Boost.
  8. The Gliding Boost skill cannot be used in the following situations.
    • Gliding Boost cannot be used while in Geysers/Updrafts/Windstreams.
    • If you are attacked or a debuff is applied during Gliding Boost, Gliding Boost will be interrupted.
    • Gliding Boost stops when the remaining flight time is 12 seconds or less.
